Personal project management

A furniture project needs more than a product list. Pam can help bring the brief, furniture choices and installation requirements together, with a clear point of contact.

Agree the brief first

Start with the space, the people using it and what needs to change. Identify the decisions that are already fixed, such as a move date or a building access window, and those that still need discussion. A clear brief helps keep furniture choices and installation planning connected.

Plan the practical details

  • Furniture quantities, finishes and an agreed specification.
  • Delivery access, parking, lifts, stairs and loading restrictions.
  • The sequence of work and whether installation needs phasing.
  • Who will make decisions and sign off changes.
  • Installation checks, outstanding items and handover arrangements.

Responsibility for electrical work, building works, waste removal and other trades should be agreed explicitly. Ask Pam what is included in the proposed scope.

UK-wide work and European installations

Based in Manchester, Pam works with customers across the UK and project manages European installations. For a cross-border project, discuss the destination, local access arrangements, delivery responsibilities and the roles of everyone involved early. Any transport, customs or local requirements need confirming for the specific project.

Keep decisions visible

A practical project brief should record who has approved the layout and furniture, the target dates and how changes will be handled. Confirm supplier dates before promising a move-in deadline, and keep a short list of open decisions so important details do not become last-minute surprises.

Put experience behind the plan

Pam brings over 35 years of office furniture experience, including work with large international companies and public-sector organisations. Combine that experience with free planning and design at the start of your next project.
